At the beginning of December 2011, I read in the local paper (Lincs Free Press) that Shepeau Stow School had been broken into and had all their raffle prizes stolen. I called the school and offered them a Portrait Sitting Voucher worth £100.... this was then won by a lady called Karen. We spent a good hour on the telephone, Karen telling me her daughter was being bullied at school and thinks the shoot would be good for her confidence!! Saturday 18th February I went along to their home just outside Shepeau Stow and spent a couple of hours with Karen’s daughter and took some lovely images of her. It was SOooo windy and cold we only did a few outside, and the rest indoors. When I arrived at their home it was out in the sticks and in a field there were about 10 horses running absolutely wild with the wind. It was the most beautiful sight!! Bullying is something quiet close to my heart as I was bullied through my whole senior school, BUT it’s what has made me who I am today. I'm a leader not a follower and this is why I was bullied; I'm proud of who I am and what I've achieved in my life so far :-) Visit my Lincolnshire Portrait Photography page for a sample of my work.
